Join as a research assistant
We are currently recruiting RAs for a project on emotional expressions and human social behavior. If you are interested, please fill out the Get Involved form and/or contact yamini.pant@yale.edu and doron.atias@yale.edu. The position description is listed below.
Research assistants will join a research team studying the connection between emotional expressions and human social behavior. You will be directly engaged in various stages of the research process, including systematic literature reviews, the development of study materials, experimental tasks and surveys, and data coding. Research assistants may also receive training in data analysis and will gain hands-on experience with advanced research tools and methodologies. There will be weekly meetings with the postdoc leading the project to provide guidance and support. All research assistants are encouraged to join the weekly lab meetings during which projects and results are discussed. No prior research experience is necessary.
Our lab would not exist without the talented, hardworking and creative undergraduates who are involved in research. If you are interested in joining the ASCL, we encourage you to complete our involvement form using the button below and (optionally) reach out to the Lab Coordinator expressing your interest working with us. We prioritize working with students who are interested in getting involved in the primary lines of research in the lab, which are described here.
