DEI Statement

The ASCLab is committed to fostering an inclusive atmosphere for individuals from diverse backgrounds. We welcome trainees and collaborators of all ages, races, disability statuses, ethnicities, family or marital statuses, gender identities or expressions, languages, national origins, political affiliations, religions, sexual orientations, socio-economic statuses.

Our research aims to unpack how emotions unfold in individuals within and across societies. This scientific endeavor necessitates that we engage in research practices that address the present-day and historical inequities that pervade psychological science and adjacent disciplines. As a lab community, we strive to grow and to cultivate an inclusive and anti-racist environment. We welcome feedback about our practices, communications or other areas of lab functioning so that we can continue to improve. If you have any comments that you wish to communicate anonymously, we welcome you to do so here
